New Wines
Preston-Layne is always on the lookout for new wines
Van and Tokar are always on the lookout for new and wonderful wines to share with our distributor partners and the wine drinking public.
This year, we added Cave de Turckheim's 2019 Tradition Riesling, 2019 Tradition Gewurztraminer, 2019 Tradition Pinot Gris and 2020 Tradition Pinot Blanc, along with more of the winery's delicious NV Crémant d'Alsace Sparkling Brut.
We also brought in new vintages from our partners at Château Clamens: 2019 Clamens Rouge, 2020 Le Petit Clamens and 2021 Clamens Rosé.
Soon, the team will travel back to France to sample new wines from our current partners and perhaps chat with some wineries we don't currently represent and check out what they have to offer as well.

New Wines Arriving from Château Clamens
A Sunny Sunday: Beautiful Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc
Van and Tokar recently returned from a productive trip to Europe, where they tasted a host of new wine from our current partners and also from prospective partners. Orders are going in, and many of these beautiful and amazing wines will soon be on their way across the Atlantic!
Two of the wines we will see in the new year are from our partners at Château Clamens: the uniquely stunning Rosé of Négrette and Sauvignon Blanc from the winery's "Un Dimanche Ensoleillé," A Sunny Sunday, line.
The brilliant rosé is crafted from 100% Négrette, the regional grape of Fronton. It is dry, fruity and well-balanced, featuring aromas and flavors of juicy strawberries, raspberries and red currant. The wine has a long, acidic fruity finish.
The Sauvignon Blanc boasts an expressive nose, with notes of exotic fruits, grapefruit and lemon. The mouth is lively, fresh, and surprisingly complex, bursting with the flavors of exotic fruits and citrus. The finish is bright and fruity.
Naturally, we will have updated vintages of the beautiful Clamens Rouge and Prestige Rosé coming as well, so be on the lookout for those announcements soon.
